Wise Spirit Collection of master woodworker and Native American Artisan
Introducing Wise Spirit, a master woodworker and Native American artisan who lives on one of the oldest recognized Indian reservations in the United States. Growing up on the reservation, most of his boyhood was spent swimming and fishing in the river or exploring the woods. Wise Spirit spent much of his early years with his grandfather learning the ways of his ancestors, how to hunt, fish, trap and grow a garden to provide food for his family. Wise Spirit’s first hunting tool was a catapult also known as a slingshot. His love for nature, culture, and tradition shows in his work. Mastering woodworking over the next 40 years prepared him for crafting exceptional, handmade slingshots that reflect a deep commitment to his traditional craftsmanship and heritage.
You will find the quality of his work and the story behind it truly remarkable. Inspired by the natural elements, seasons and Indigenous culture, Wise Spirit works with a variety of woods both domestic and exotic imported to craft precise shooting instruments. Slingshots and all accessories can be purchased through the website.
